A Vision to
Believe In

At Ionic, we believe that the next transformative wave of societal innovation and economic growth will come from the enablement of digital trust, which will only be delivered by making data protection more consistent, predictable, and simple to manage.

History

Founded in 2011 by a combination of crypto geeks, all–around geeks, and data privacy idealists, we’ve been on a mission to enable pervasive digital trust through scalable data protection.
Rethink the Problem

We recognized early that the exponential proliferation of data – across siloed digital processes and systems – would ultimately break any organization’s capacity to secure it. Rethinking the problem, we created breakthrough technology that allows data protection to be managed and scaled simply, independent of applications and data stores.

Prove it in Global 100 Enterprises

We partnered with numerous global enterprises – across vertical industries – who shared our vision for creating a system of record for managing and scaling data protection. Through these strategic customer relationships, we’ve proven that our innovations are transformative within some of the most complex, challenging data environments on Earth.

Establish Transformational Partnerships

As major cloud services platforms have emerged and matured, we recognized the need to enable a cross-environment data protection model that could seamlessly support cloud migration and multi-cloud innovation strategies. We’ve now established expansive, strategic partnerships with the top three CSPs, making this vision a reality.

Standardize and Expand

Our large enterprise and government deployments have enabled us to standardize, optimize, and streamline our solution for Machina™ solution for scalable adoption by the broader market. Now, Machina is the new standard for any organization or application developer ready to scale data protection.

Backed by Leaders

We are backed by a powerful assortment of blue-chip global enterprises, cloud ecosystem leaders, and world-class investment firms.
